HISTORY
In 2021, we started a special project to help and support young people who are neurodivergent, like those with autism. We wanted to make sure they have access to education, advocacy, and a chance to connect with others like them.
As we worked on this project, we noticed that there are still many challenges for neurodivergent adults too. They face difficulties in getting affordable support services and often have to deal with tough life situations that keep them in poverty or affect their families for generations.
So, in 2022, we decided to team up with others who share our goals from all around the world. Together, we want to make the neurodiversity movement stronger and more widespread. We will support different projects and work with others to help neurodivergent people succeed in life. Our goal is to create lasting partnerships that can make a real difference for everyone in the neurodivergent community.
We acknowledge and pay respect to all historically marginalised communities, including First Nations Peoples, people with disabilities, and LGBTQIA+ individuals. We recognise the unique challenges and injustices that these communities have faced, and we commit ourselves to promoting diversity, liberation, and inclusion for all. We acknowledge the invaluable contributions that these communities have made and continue to make to our world, and we honour the rich cultural heritage and traditions that they bring. We stand in solidarity with historically marginalised communities and work towards creating a more just and equitable world for all.
